Found my job @ Jobstreet.com

May 17, 2007

A lot of people have been asking me where I found my new online job.  I say @ Jobstreet. It's easier there. I get to have the daily mails from Lina of Jobstreet with the jobs that suit my preference.  So I get it every day and get to check out the jobs that I find interesting.  One of which that I always get to find is having a job as an online teacher. Most of the companies would want online teacher who are willing to work at their office. But there are some that would allow home based teachers. Just like the company that I'm connected with now. ^o^  So if you're looking for a job, I suggest trying www.jobstreet.com  It's really a nice site.

note:  if you want to venture in teaching online. you must have a skype id. so get your skype id now at www.skype.com  — you can only get your skype id thru the skype messenger. That means you have to download or have the messenger from www.skype.com
If you already have one then  good for you.  I wish you good luck and hope that we all succeed in what we want to do in life.  Have a nice day!

Teaching Math Online for an Online Company

May 4, 2007

due to insistent demand.. i have here a little information if you want to teach math online.
there's one online company hiring tutors from all over the world to teach any subject.
the most in-demand subject they have is math. they cater to US-based and UK-based students. They used to pay US $4.00 per hour. But now they only pay a fixed rate of 5,000 Indian Rupees per month (3 hrs per day of work). That 3 hours of work will be for 6 days. 1 Indian Rupee is equivalent to 1 peso. So that means that's Php 5,000 per month. I think that's ok. The advantage is that whether you have a student or not fixed ang payment mo. Ok yun. kasi sa $4.00 la kang bayad if you don't have a student. Oh diba? ok na din.
I used to work there and got US $4.00 per hour but when the rate changed I quit and decided on putting my luck on finding students on my own. But i got to say it's tough looking for students online. So if you want to try it out you may do so by sending your resume at careers@tutorvista.com or at jobs@tutorvista.com
Just to be sure please check www.tutorvista.com
They will really pay you. They paid me. So if you want added income send your resume there.
You don't need to be a math major or an english major. As long as you can teach the subject, go for it. Advise ko lang, you have to tell them you have teaching experience. That's all.
I hope this will help. Good luck!

for globe users: try nyo parin yung free load.
for those who did it. thanks i got my free load (30 pesos). i know you got yours din. enjoy diba? refer din nyo sa iba to be able to get more. or kung ayaw nyo sa akin nalng na number. just want to tell you.. if they just register on their own without a registered number who referred them, they WON'T get a free load.
